Earthbuilder, founded in 1982 by Dr Steve Burroughs, was established to service and promote the earthbuilding market. This consultancy acts on behalf of large international development agencies as well as individuals who choose earth as a preferred construction medium.

From Africa to the Middle East, Asia to the Americas, Earthbuilder has been involved in the worldwide renaissance of earth-based construction. Earth is chosen as a desirable building medium for technical reasons. Its use is maximised when coupled with other aspects of a sustainable building model. This holistic approach includes:
